We also advise our clients as to the financing of ships or other assets. In regulatory matters we support our clients in collaborating with the Swiss Maritime Navigation Office and the Port of Switzerland. In support of foreign proceedings and/or to secure claims, we can assist in arranging the arrest of cargo, ships and the freezing of bank accounts in Switzerland.

As regards the international carriage of goods by sea, in particular of commodities, we assist many of our clients in the drafting of complex time or voyage charterparties. We are also able to assist in arbitrating disputes arising out of the construction of carriage contracts, should the need arise.

We also regularly represent insurers as well as P&I Clubs in coverage, defence and recourse disputes.
